IELTS Speaking: Describe a Person Who Influenced You
"Describe a person who has had an influence on your life. You should say who they are, how you know them, what they did, and explain why they influenced you." This is a genuine Part 2 cue card, and in this club you'll do exactly what the exam asks: one minute to prepare, two minutes to speak, then Part 3 follow-up questions about role models, family influence and whether young people still look up to anyone. You'll get the full exam routine with a timer, precise phrases for describing character and influence, and specific feedback on fluency, lexical range and how to fill two full minutes with real content rather than repetition. Aimed at candidates working towards band 6.5 and above.
